For my as graphics mock exam, I have produced two magazine covers in adobe in-design. Below are the final pieces that i have come up with. I am happy with my results, although there are one or two things that I would have liked to chance or alter now I look back over them.
This first image is my first design for a music magazine cover. I am happy with the layout of the text and cover lines and also the photo, but one of the things I would have altered is the magazine title. The title was a design I originally drew and then scanned into Photoshop to be edited. What I think I could have improved in the editing of the title is use of the pen tool and make a vector sketch with many coloured layers to create a crisp and even cartoon style title. But other than that I found that writing my cover lines before hand was a real help and made it much easier for me to complete my work, and also the magazine research, drafting and photo shoot work helped me to put together my chosen cover design..

This next image is my second magazine design. yet again one of the main things I would liked to have changed/improved is the title and the use of a vector sketch using the pen tool in adobe Illustrator like I talked about before, and I have thought about adding a date and price to the magazine to finish it off and make it seem more like a real magazine cover.
